DATE is an appointment calendar program.  Calendars are in a format used
by SUMEX.  A "blank" calendar with various standard holidays is provided
in DATE.DAT[sub,sys].  To use DATE copy DATE.DAT to your area and then
include your own appointments, etc.

To run the program type:

	r date<;filename>

where the <> indicates that ;filename is optional.  If no file name is
specified then DATE.DAT is assumed.  At the present DATE works only on the
current aliased directory.

DATE computes the current day and places you in the file (using E) at
today's entry.
